Eliza Waitherero – Position: Chairperson
Eric O James – Position: Vice Chairperson
I chose to work with Toto Angel Centre because it’s a community based organization that does not only support the vulnerable children but also to empower youth and women to sustain and maintain themselves independently through small skill businesses and being role model in the society.
Edwin Mumo – Position: Sectretary
I started working with Toto Angel Centre since its inception in 2013. Through my time there I have come to appreciate the positive impact that child care programs bring in our society by ensuring that every child grows in a safe and loving environment. Having a vast experience in social work and community development, it is my privilege to work and volunteer my time with Toto Angel Centre, to help the children there attain their visions and ambitions.
Sarah Mumo – Position: Treasurer
When Eliza asked me to be a founding member of Toto Angel Centre in 2013 and to support her in managing the rescue centre, I saw an opportunity to finally follow my passion, support children in need and practice my professional project management skills. I volunteer my time with Toto Angel Centre and act as its treasurer and am additionally responsible for the communication with our international donors, grant applications, report writing and fundraising. I am proud to see our children grow and prosper but know we could do so much more for them given the resources.
Annika Ouko – Position: Member of the Board
For me working with children and adolescents is profession as much as passion. Seeing how the kids in our Centre grow and develop is simply wonderful. It is great to be part of this multi-professional team which leads the Centre with such passion and devotion. We all do whatever we can to ensure children and adolescents from the community are granted a better future. We want to be part of the change that we wish to see in the world.
